A second person has been charged in connection with an assault at the Georgia School for the Deaf in Cave Spring.
According to Floyd County Jail records, 18-year-old Kelby Wade Kenner of Chatsworth entered the room of a juvenile male and inappropriately touched his private parts and mimicked a sexual act on December 15 of last year. He is charged with sexual battery of a person under the age of 16.
He turned himself in on Thursday night.
Another teen was booked into jail on Thursday on the same charge.
According to Floyd County Jail records, 17-year old Heath Lamar Dixon of Lake Park also entered the room of a juvenile at the Georgia School for the Deaf in Cave Spring and touched the child in an inappropriate manner.
Dixon also reportedly held the victim by the arms and attempted to pull the victim’s pants down.
