Floyd County police arrested a Potts Road resident on a felony drug charge early Friday morning after a traffic stop on the Calhoun Road.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Jerry Wayne Fowler, 67, of 115 Potts Road, Kingston, was in a vehicle stopped by police at 1881 Calhoun Road around 1:30 a.m. Friday. Fowler gave county officers consent to search the vehicle, which turned up a small quantity of suspected methamphetamine and a glass-smoking device.

He was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug related objects.
