Summerville Police are investigating a hold-up that took place at the convenience store on Hawkins Drive just before 9:30 Friday night.

Two individuals wearing masks and armed with guns entered the store demanding money and eventually fired off a single round, striking the store clerk in the abdomen.  It’s unclear as to whether the pair actually made off with any money however they did steal cigarettes and other items before fleeing the store.

Little information is being released at this time as the investigation is on-going.
