An argument over housecleaning led to a criminal arrest warrant being taken out for a man who attempted to stop his girlfriend from contacting police, after the two had gotten into a heated disagreement.

The woman told officers that she came home from work, to find that the apartment hadn’t been cleaned; she confronted her boyfriend about the situation and the situation escalated to the point where the woman tried to call 9-1-1 for assistance, however, according to what she told officers, her boyfriend grabbed her cell phone, and in the melee the screen of that phone cracked.

At that point, the man left on foot – but, before leaving, he tossed his own clothes out of the apartment, where they were later witnessed by officers lying on the staircase.

According to the incident report there were no visible marks on the complainant as a result of the altercation.
