A Chattooga County man was arrested in Rome, just after midnight Monday on a long list of charges including possession of meth, possession of oxycodone, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

34 year old Lee Tyler Veatch, of a Summerville address, was allegedly driving on suspended registration and suspended license and had no valid insurance.

Veatch was also found in possession of methamphetamine, oxycodone and marijuana.

A loaded 12-guage shotgun with the safety off was beside the man in the truck.

He remains jailed without bond.
