Little information has been released regarding someone hitting a Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office patrol car during a chase Wednesday night.

There were no injuries resulting from the accident.

Sheriff Mark Schrader has confirmed that the subject who ran from the scene was Nicholas Trammel.  33 year old Nicholas Lloyd Trammel of Summerville was listed on the Thursday morning arrest report as being charged with the following DUI, attempting to elude, hit and run/leaving the scene of an accident, open container, the possession of marijuana under an ounce, improper u-turn and driving on a suspended license.
