A 32 year old Chattanooga man riding a motorcycle was fatally injured in an accident last Sunday evening..

According to investigators a 74 year old man driving a pickup was apparently attempting to make a right turn – when he struck the motorcycle at the intersection of Lafayette Road and Cloud Springs.

Initial reports indicated that the driver of the pickup failed to yield at the traffic light.

That accident, which took place at around 6:30pm, remains under investigation.
