A Chattooga County woman is facing a felony theft charge.

According to Floyd County Jail reports 36 year old Cynthia Rape of West Elm Street in Trion is charged with one count of theft by taking. Rape allegedly took a cargo utility trailer from Armuchee Self Storage that contained furniture and tools valued at $3,200.

She was additionally charged with giving false information to police officers, after allegedly attempting to use a relative's name instead of her own.
