Chattooga County School Superintendent Jimmy Lenderman says that due to school being cancelled at other schools around the area today, the basketball tournament that was scheduled to be held at Chattooga High School this evening has been postponed until tomorrow, Thursday February 11th, starting at 4 PM .

Due to weather conditions the Region 7AA basketball tournament that was to be held at Chattooga High School last night was postponed until tonight (See Related Story ).

On Monday, Armuchee defeated the Chattooga High School Lady Indians 64-28 in the opening round of Region 7AA tournament play.  The Lady Indians ended their season with four wins and twenty-two losses.  

The Chattooga High School Varsity Boys were ranked #9 in the latest Atlanta Journal-Constitution poll for the 7AA Region and will play on Friday at 5 PM.  AM 1180 will broadcast the game and you can also listen on SKY 21.5 Television (Charter Cable 184) and online at www.chattoogainfo.com .

The Trion Varsity Boys basketball team ended their season on Monday in the first round of Region 6A tournament play after being defeated by Kings Ridge Christian by a score of 62-48.  The Bulldogs ended their season with a record of four wins and twenty-one losses.  Mt. Paran Christian defeated the Lady Bulldogs in tournament action on Monday and the Lady Bulldogs ended their season with a record of six wins and eighteen losses.
