DL Dutton, 48 of Rome, was arrested on Tuesday after police said he was paid money for work he never completed. Reports said that Dutton was paid $700 to build a porch on a home at Elmwood Drive but never started the work. Authorities added that he was offered a chance to start the work before criminal charges were filed, but still never performed the duty.
He is charged with conversion of payments for real property improvements.
