Beth Edwards has been named Director Planning and Decision Support at Floyd. In this role, she will analyze data to help the organization make informed decisions. She will also be involved with strategic planning and managing and planning for certificates of need.
Edwards earned a Bachelor of Science degree in healthcare services from the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, Arizona and a Master of Business Administration degree from Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, The Center for Health Design and the Georgia Association of Healthcare Executives Programs Committee.
Before coming to Floyd, Edwards held several positions at WellStar including director of operations, senior new facility project manager and transition consultant. She is currently an adjunct professor with the University of Phoenix.
