A two vehicle wreck has left a man in serious condition Thursday. Reports said that A Chevrolet Silverado collided with a tractor trailer truck on U.S. 27 South at Walker Mountain Road. Just before 7 a.m. The driver of the Silverado, with a Cherokee County tag, was flown to Erlanger hospital in Chattanooga.

The driver of the tractor trailer, Kevin Daughtery from Knoxville Tenn., reported that his rear axle of his truck was knocked off from amount of force the collision.

The tractor trailer truck was carrying rock salt and was bound for Tallapoosa.
