The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help Beauflor USA, LLC, a Belgium sheet vinyl manufacturer, recruit about 100 workers for its manufacturing facility, which is set to open in the spring in Bartow County. Beauflor USA, LLC, is a subsidiary of BeryAlloc and Beauflor Brands. The Bartow County facility will be the company’s first manufacturing plant in the United States.
The recruitment will be held Thursday, Feb. 25, from 12 noon to 4 p.m. at the Clarence Brown Conference Center located at 5450 Georgia Highway 20 in Cartersville. GDOL staff will be on site to assist applicants in the screening process. Applicants are encouraged to bring a resume and dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for jobs.
The company is recruiting for 17 different positions: coating table operator, colorist, controller for entry goods, customer service representative, industrial maintenance electrician, junior accountant, lead mechanic, marketing and communications manager, industrial maintenance mechanic, production planner, quality lab technician, quality re-inspection operator, packer, quality technician, un-winder operator, warehouse manager and winder operator.
Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, all applicants must be at least 18 years old. A high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED), college degree, or some experience may be required for some positions.
