A Floyd County Grand Jury has indicted a man who allegedly tried to rob two people with a stick at the Rome Kroger in January.

53-year-old Roy Collins Robinson of a Branham Avenue residence was charged with armed robbery.

He reportedly pointed a stick at two Kroger workers and told them to empty the register.

The report original report indicated that Robinson said that he had “a few drinks” prior to daring robbery attempt.
