Chattooga County drivers still need to be on the lookout for deer especially during the early morning hours. 

Motorists have reported seeing deer on a regular basis around the area, with at least two reports of a deer/vehicle collision taking place in the last several days. 

According to accident reports the incident took place in the area of Hair Lake Road near the Sunnydale Road intersection at around 7:00pm, causing moderate damage to the vehicle.

The other collision was reported on John Jones Road, with damage being done to the car’s front driver’s side bumper and headlight.

Fortunately, the only injury reported was damage being done to each insurance company’s bank account.
