A fire left a family, including a pregnant woman, without a home or any possessions Saturday night, Feb. 27, in Rock Spring.

According to Walker County 911, fire engulfed the residence on Pinewood Drive at Ga. Highway 95 about 8:40 p.m.

The three adults living at the residence were not present at the time, but two dogs perished in the flames.

The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.

According to Walker County Emergency responders, the Red Cross has temporarily placed the family at a hotel in LaFayette. Red Cross is accepting donations for immediate needs for the family.

According to neighbor Angie Land, the pregnant woman wears extra-large shirts, size 14/16 pants and size 9½ shoes. One of the men wears 36/34 in pants, while the other man wears 38/32 in pants; both men wear extra-large shirts; they also need sizes 12 and 10½ shoes.
