A Rome man was arrested Wednesday on charges of child molestation and sexual battery.

According to a Floyd County Jail report, 50-year-old Robert Lee Sullins, Jr. of a Fred Kelly Road residence inappropriately touched the female victim, who is under the age of 16.

He remains jailed without bond.
