NOTICE ISSUED BY THE TOWN OF TRION

The Town of Trion, Code of Ordinances, Chapter 46 requires all Trion building occupants to maintain sufficient garbage receptacles to store waste accumulated on their premises.

All cans shall be no larger than 35 gallon capacity and must have tight fitting lids.

This ordinance also prohibits disposal of hazardous materials in these receptacles. All garbage receptacles and premises not in compliance are being placarded and must be in compliance by March 25, 2016.

Anyone not in compliance by then will be citied to municipal court and subject to a minimum penalty of $25/ violation.
