A 20 year old Scottsboro woman was fatally injured in a Monday night wreck in Ft Payne.

According to the accident report that incident occurred around 7:20 that evening, when the Jeep Wrangler driven by 23 year old Deanna Betz of Ft Payne, crashed into the rear end of a logging truck that was parked in the 900 block of Glenn Boulevard Southwest.

A passenger in the vehicle, Kimberly Michelle Beattie, was killed in the wreck.

Betz was treated at the scene for minor injuries and was charged with DUI.
