Three people have been indicted for the murder of a man on Woodcreek Way back on December 22.

The body of 27-year-old Cristobal Becerras-Contreras was located behind an apartment.

Evidence located at the scene indicated that the death was a probable homicide.

Members of the Rome Police Department Criminal Investigative Division developed probable cause for the arrest of three persons for the robbery and murder of the victim.

Kelesha Dorsey and Delaney Ray were arrested on the night of December 23.

A murder warrant was also obtained for Kyle Anthony Strother, who at last report, was still at-large.

Also, 26-year-old Marcus Antwon Townsend was indicted for making false statements for allegedly lying to police about the murder.

When police asked Townsend if he knew anything about the body in the backyard, he denied knowing anything, despite having received two texts and a phone call that lasted for one minute and 36 seconds from Strother, according to the arrest warrant.
