Chattooga County 4-H had 2 teams participate in the Gordon County 4-H District Qualifying Match for S.A.F.E. 5 meter BB this past Saturday, March 12th.

The Chattooga County Team 1 shooters – Linzie Thompson, Brittonie Cordle, Serenity Swift, Jasmine Thibodeaux, and Ayden Abee. Team 1 will be moving on to state with a total team score of 1,608.

The Chattooga County Team 2 Shooters are James Wester, Ayden Riley, Max Kilgore, Mason Dunaway, and Erica Sexton. Team 2 will be moving on to the state competition with a total team score of 1,662.

Mason Dunaway was recognized for scoring 100 on the SAFE written exam.

Of the ten shooters this year, seven of them are brand new to the S.A.F.E. program.

We are amazed at their accomplishments thus far, and can’t wait to see what awaits them in the future!
