A Rome man was arrested Wednesday on an array of charges including aggravated stalking – criminal damage to property – and aggravated assault.

According to Floyd County Jail reports, 32-year-old Michael Brian Ingram of a Cave Spring Road residence allegedly violated a protective order and struck the victim on the head and neck. He allegedly grabbed the victim by the throat and threatened to hit her with a pry bar.

He then broke the victim’s phone and threw the victim’s tablet against her car. Ingram then got into his vehicle and hit the victim’s vehicle.

Ingram is charged with two counts of cruelty to children when he committed the acts in front of children.

He is also charged with battery, criminal trespass, and violating family violence order.
