Floyd County Sheriff's Deputies arrested 44 year-old Timothy Richard Jordan at an Auburn Lane apartment for failing to register as a sex offender. Reports said that a warrant for his arrest was issued in Florida.

He was charged with being a fugitive from justice and is currently being held for authorities in Santa Rosa County, Florida. Jordan was arrested in 1989 for Sexual Battery, among other charges and in 2014 on a Kidnapping charge.
