Two Rome residents have been arrested on burglary charges after allegedly breaking into a school building.

According to Floyd County Jail records 30 year old Daniel Ray Baldwin of Sunrise Drive and Tyler James Eaves, age 17, of an Old Cave Spring Road address – allegedly entered McHenry Elementary School last Saturday with the intent to commit theft.

They were later found in possession of stolen items valued at $1,500 resulting in additional charges of theft by receiving stolen property.
