As a wise man once said – It’s not politics until its vandalism.
Two large campaign signs belonging to Jimmy Holbrook were stolen sometime between Sunday night and the early morning hours of Monday (March 27th/28th).
The huge signs, measuring four feet by eight feet, were taken from 182 Montgomery Street near the Crushed Tomato restaurant in Summerville.
Holbrook is running against businessman Steve Baker on the Democratic ticket, in the race for Chattooga County Commissioner.
Voters will make their choice on May 24th – with either Holbrook or Baker then facing the winner of the race between Incumbent Jason Winters and political newcomer John Brady on the Republican side.
The incident remains under investigation by the City of Summerville Police Department
