Ashton Staffing is recruiting more than 30 employees to work for several companies in the Calhoun area.

The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help that company recruit workers Friday, (April 1st) between 9:00am and 12:00 noon at the Gordon County Agricultural Center 1282 Highway 53 Spur in Calhoun.

Department of Labor staff will be on site to help the company screen those applicants.

The company will be recruiting for a number of positions – among those are administrative assistants, assistant coordinators, creelers, general labor, nutrition aides and stock pickers.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, all applicants must be at least 18 years old. Salaries will depend on the position and experience.
