A former Deputy of the Floyd County Sheriff's Office has been indicted by a grand jury, on 53 counts. 

Jessie Stiles was indicted Friday on 12 counts of Theft by Taking; 22 counts of Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act; five counts of Exploiting the Elderly; three counts of Burglary 1st Degree; and one count of Exploitation of an Elderly Adult and ten counts of the

Violation of Oath of Office.

Stiles arrest came about, as the result of the investigation into allegations that he had stolen prescription drugs from people while on duty.

He was terminated from his position at the Sheriff's Office on January 22nd after being with the department for eleven years.
