The man driving an automobile that fatally injured two motorcyclists on Sunday evening, in a crash north of Dalton, was charged with DUI and Driving on a Suspended License.

Additional charges may be forthcoming.

According to the Georgia State Patrol accident report, both individuals on the motorcycle, a man and a woman, were pronounced dead at the scene, after the car reportedly crossed the center line – then struck the bike, on Dawnville Road – sending both vehicles down a 30 foot embankment.

None of the names associated with the crash have been released.
