Stevie Lamar Garner of Floyd County has been found guilty on all counts, in the murder of Marcus Wall in March of last year.

Garner is accused of shooting the 21 year old Wall on Drummond Drive as he sat in his SUV.

Wall reportedly drove away after being shot and later died from his wounds.

Witnesses said there had been a dispute between the two over some thefts. One of the final witnesses called to the stand was the woman who was living with Garner at the time.

Barbara Witt testified that she had been living with Garner for about three days and hadn't met Wall until the day he drove up and was murdered.

The prosecution contends that Garner was out for blood and the murder was premeditated while the defense said Garner felt threatened by Wall and he shot in self-defense.

Sentencing has been set for a later date.
