The Rome Fred’s Pharmacy will be hosting a ‘Health and Safety Day’ with the Rome Fire Department on Aug. 5.

The event will include bounce-houses, BBQ catered by Three Rivers BBQ, allowing young children to check out police vehicles, and several raffles, including for nearby restaurants and a free house cleaning.

Additionally, the Rome City Fire Dept. will talk about fire safety, and proper receptacles for unused drugs will be on site of the event to prevent their theft. The event will be from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Fred’s Pharmacy on 1916 Redmond Cir. NW in Rome.
