Need something to do during fall break? The Summerville Library is holding a S.T.E.A.M. CAMP on Monday, October 2 and Thursday October 5 2017 from 10 AM to 1 PM.

There is no cost for this program, but space is limited, and sign-up is required. Call the library to register at 706-857-2553.

On Monday, October 2, there will be an ecology program, the Keeper of the Coosa River will be on hand to present an ecological program. Following this presentation, the group can choose to either participate in an art/poetry program where they will create environmental artwork/poetry that will be entered into the River of Words art and poetry contest, or they can choose to work with a hands-on science project relating to ecology.

On Thursday, Oct 5, participants will work with technology, science and engineering kits that the library has on-hand. The group will break into teams and see who can escape the library by solving various puzzles.

A hotdog lunch with chips and a drink will be served on both days.
