Walker County’s first agricultural festival is set for this Saturday, Sep. 30.

Entries will be taken for a variety of competitions, including:

• Flowers
• Agricultural art and photography
• Fruits and vegetables
• Baking and canning
• Needlework/Quilting

The fair will feature livestock judging ranging from cattle to rabbits, as well as demos in beekeeping. gardening, canning, and more.

There will be a kids’ zone with inflatables, food and crafts vendors, and live bluegrass music. Hours will be 8 AM-8 PM, and will be held entirely at the Walker Co. Ag. Center behind the Civic Center in Rock Spring.
