PRESS RELEASE: Chattooga County 4-H is preparing for a huge December of community service activities and events.

 On December 2nd, Chattooga County 4-H will be hosting their annual Breakfast with Santa event. Current 4-H students will serve as Santa’s elves and help serve a pancake and sausage breakfast plate to guests visiting Candyland and the North Pole. ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas will be read to all the children attending. Santa and Mrs. Claus will make a special appearance and pictures can be taken with the dynamic Christmas duo. Tickets for this limited seating event are only $5 and two seating times are available, one at 8:30 am and the other at 10:30 am. Come join us for this fun-filled family event! Chattooga County 4-H is also collecting items for their Stockings for Soldiers and Nursing Home Country Store community service activities. The list of items that can be donated includes socks, baby wipes, hand sanitizer, sunblock, chap stick, powered drink mixes, costume jewelry, board games, playing cards, stuffed animals, gum, candy, Christmas cards, Thank You letters, and any other items that could benefit our elderly or be sent to help soldiers overseas. A donation box is set up at the Chattooga County Extension/4-H Office as well as the front office of each school in Chattooga County. Everyone is encouraged to donate and can do so until the 4th of December.
