The Chattooga County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary that took place on Plum Street in Trion this week.
According to a report released yesterday by the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy responded to the burglary report on Tuesday of this week. The deputy spoke with Helen Teague, who told the deputy that someone had stolen a kayak and around ten fishing poles from her residence that belonged to her son.
Ms. Teague said that the kayak was leaned up against the side of the house and the fishing poles were located in an outbuilding on the property.
According to the report, there are no known suspects and the case is under investigation.
