WZQZ News and The Summerville News will be jointly hosting a political forum this evening for local candidates running in the Chattooga County Board of Education race.

The three Republican candidates, Sammy Ballard, Brad Hayes and Julia Houston and the three incumbent Democrats, Eddie Massey, Larry Weesner and Alma Lewis have all be invited to attend the forum. The forum will be moderated by Mr. Caleb Millican from the Chattooga County Extension Office. Candidates will be given an opportunity to have an opening and closing statement and will field questions from both The Summerville News and WZQZ Radio.

The event will be held at 6 PM this evening, Tuesday, October 16th at the Chattooga County Civic Center on Highway 48 in Summerville and the public is invited to attend. WZQZ will broadcast the forum live on 99.1 FM and AM 1180. We will also be live-streaming the event on Facebook.
