The festival will be held from 9 AM until 3 PM (EDT), and admission and parking are free. With lots of vendors, music, food, a costume contest, and a cake sale, there will be fun for young and old. The fire pit will be lit, hot chili will be for sale, and festival-goers can roast their own hot dogs and s’mores!

The Cloudland Volunteer Fire Department will have Bobby Cavin’s famous Barbecue; the $10 plates will include a barbecued pulled pork sandwich, baked beans, potato salad, and a drink. Baked potatoes loaded with barbecued pork will also be available.

The park will also be serving hotdogs, homemade venison chili, homemade vegetable soup, cornbread, baked potatoes with chili, hot apple cider, hot chocolate, and several desserts. There will be a cake auction at 1 PM and a costume contest at 2 PM. Festival T-shirts (pictured below) can be purchased at the event, pre-ordered and picked up at the event, or ordered online and sent by mail (more details below).

There will be live music with an open mic, so come prepared to sing along!

In case of bad weather, rain date will be November 10th and an announcement will be posted on the event’s Facebook page and website.

The festival’s organizers can only accept one vendor per food type/direct sales company. Scentsy and Usborne Books representatives have already committed to the festival to represent those businesses; the same is true of a BBQ vendor.

Burning Leaf Festival T-shirts pre-orders are available. The shirts will be maroon and long-sleeved with a vintage-style distressed ivory design (pictured below).

To order, send the festival’s organizers a message on their Facebook, noting note size(s) needed, pickup method (either at the festival or by mail), and payment method (either at the festival or online via PayPal).

They will be available for pickup at the Burning Leaf Festival on October 27. If you are picking up your shirt, you can pay at the festival or via PayPal. If you won’t be attending the festival but would still like a shirt, shipment orders will be taken, adding $5 for shipping. Shirts will be screen-printed and must be pre-ordered, unlike how they have been made on-site in previous years.

All proceeds go toward the upkeep and improvement of Cloudland Community Park.
