An employee of Victory Fuel on Trion Teloga Road called 9-1-1 after a man in a white pickup truck allegedly drove off without paying for gas last Saturday afternoon.

Records from the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Department indicate that complainant Sherrie Bowman told a deputy that the subject pumped 23 dollars’ and 54 cents’ worth of gas before driving off toward Trion without paying.

Bowman said that she was still working to pull up surveillance footage of the driver, and was unable to provide a make, model, or tag for the truck. She was advised that a report would be filed, and to contact Chattooga E-911 if they were able to retrieve the footage.
