At last night’s meeting of the Summerville City Council, the council voted to approve the contract for newly-hired city manager Janice Galloway retroactive to November 1, 2018.

The contract is for one-year with the option to renew and compensates Mrs. Galloway with $82,000. She will have a city car and computer.

The motion was made by councilman Earl Parris, seconded by David Ford, and the vote passed unanimously.
