The Dollar General Store on Commerce Street in Summerville is planning a Toy Drive and fundraiser that will benefit Toys for Tots and Santa in Uniform.

The manager of the store told WZQZ News that the store will accept toys and donations that will benefit children in our area at Christmas.

The event is planned for Saturday, December 1st from 11 AM until 2 PM at the store, located at 10551 Commerce Street in Summerville.

Toys can be purchased inside the store and then dropped off in a Toys for Tots box located at the store.  Also, there will be hot dogs and other items for sale.  All of the money raised from the food and drinks sold will benefit the local Santa in Uniform program.
