Mayor Larry Stansell has called a special meeting of the town council tonight.

The purpose of the meeting will be to first discuss and set 2018’s property tax millage rate at 11.980, and then to confirm an employee for the mechanic position in maintenance department.

The original notice sent to WZQZ stated that there would be a private work session after the special called meeting. Town Clerk Missy Duncan said this was a mistake; there will only be one meeting.

The meeting will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, December 05, at 5:30 PM in the Town Hall Conference Room. The public is invited to attend.
