A Summerville man was arrested in Rome last week after police claim that he slapped his fiance in the face.
Twenty-year-old Roger Wayne Monroe-Siffles was arrested at a motel in Rome. Police were called to the Fairbridge Motel on Martha Berry Boulevard where they say it was reported that Siffles slapped his fiance with an open hand.
Siffles was charged with simple battery and booked into the Floyd County Jail. .
