The University of Georgia Cooperative Extension Service will conduct a workshop for small farmers Wednesday, Feb. 3 at the Bartow County Extension office in Cartersville. The program is called ‘Too Much to Mow, What Do I Grow?’
Scott Cagle will be the keynote speaker. Cagle specializes in agri-tourism and will speak to participants about programs ranging from farm mazes to pick your own pumpkin patches.
Pre-registration is required prior to Wednesday, Jan. 27. The cost for the workshop is $10.
Checks should be made out to Rolling Hills RC&D Council and sent to Rolling Hills at 512 Main St., Cedartown, Ga. 30125.
