The “Ms. Menlo” Beauty Pageant will be held coming up next month.  The event is sponsored by, and is a fundraiser for the Menlo PTO.  You can find the details on the pageant below:

Rules: All contestants must be a student of MES; Baby and Tiny contestants must live in Menlo or have a sibling that attends MES.

Entry Fee: Entry fee is $25 per contestant, if siblings are entering it is $15 extra per child; Optional categories are $5 per category;

Optional categories include Most Photogenic, Prettiest Hair, and Prettiest Smile. If you are entering the Most Photogenic category please submit a photo no larger than 8×10 and place the constant’s name and age on the back. Photos must be turned in by the deadline of March 8th. Photos will be returned the night of the pageant. Entry fees must be turned in by March 8th. Please place money in a sealed envelope with the contestants name on the front. All fees and donations will benefit Menlo PTO. Checks should be made to Menlo PTO. Please put contestants name in the memo section if paying with a check.

Practice: Rehearsal will be held at Menlo gym, Friday March 15th starting at 6:00 pm. The person who will escort the Baby and Tiny Miss contestants should attend this practice as well. We will start with Baby and Tiny Miss first and work our way through.

People’s Choice Award: Each division will have a people’s choice winner. There will be a table at the back of the gym where you can purchase votes for $1 per vote for the contestant of your choice. The contestant who gets the most votes from each category will win a crown.

Admission: The pageant is a fundraiser for Menlo PTO. Admission will be $3 per adult, $1 MES students and 3 and under is free. Admission is waived for escorts for the Tiny and Toddler divisions.
