Summerville resident Maurice Brown told police last week that two dogs that belong to a neighbor killed his cat.  Mr. Brown said that the two dogs crossed Ramey Street and appeared to be tossing his cat around in the air. Brown told the officer that it wasn’t the first time the dogs had escaped their enclosure.  Another neighbor said that the dogs taunt her dog through the fence. Mr. Brown told the police that his cat was in the neighbor’s yard when it was killed.  Police said that it did not appear that there was anything that they could cite the owners of the dog for, but they did notify animal control.
