Dreamer’s Outreach Inc., is hosting a free cookout for the public in celebration of cancer survivors next Saturday at Kuzzins, 150 Hemlock Street, in Summerville.

Dreamer’s will give away at least $1,000 to the Cancer Navigators of Rome as part of the outreach’s one-year anniversary, according to organizer Maurice Martin.

Attendees are being asked to wear pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  A pink balloon release is planned and there will be candles to light for cancer survivors, according to organizers.

The event will get underway at 4 PM on Saturday, October 26th.
