On Tuesday, the Northwest Georgia Department of Public Health announced that free COVID-19 testing is now available for residents of Chattooga County and Northwest Georgia, at the public health department.  The testing is available to those who are exhibiting symptoms such as fever, a dry cough and shortness of breath.  Also, health care workers, first responders and critical infrastructure workers along with residents of long-term care facilities can receive the testing – free of charge.  See details below:
