The Tennessee Titans have signed a new running back via free agency. Over the weekend, it was announced that Summerville native and former Chattooga Indian Senorise Perry is headed to Nashville.

Tennessee agreed to terms with Perry, who spent the last season with the Buffalo Bills.  The twenty-eight-year old Perry has also played with the Chicago Bears and the Miami Dolphins during his six-year NFL career.

Perry graduated from Chattooga High School in 2010 and signed with the Louisville Cardinals where he played for three years while in college. From 2012-13, Perry combined to rush for 1,382 yards and 17 touchdowns. He also caught 36 passes for 359 yards and a touchdown while at Louisville.  Also while at Louisville, Perry twice finished among the top 10 conference rushers (the Big East in 2012, the American in 2013). For his career, he rushed for 1,409 yards (4.9 per carry) and caught 36 passes for 359 yards.

Before enrolling in college, Perry was considered a three-star recruit. According to the industry generated 247Sports Composite, Perry was the No. 106 ranked player in the state of Georgia.
