A ghostface gang member from Resaca was arrested on numerous charges after a Walker County Deputy saw a near-accident on Highway 27 in the Rock Spring area, late Tuesday night.
The deputy pulled over the Chevy Impala minutes later and the suspect in the vehicle ran from officers.
The suspect was recovered with the help of a K-9.
Twenty-three-year-old Britan Russell Collins, was charged with escape, fleeing, DUI for drugs, no license, reckless driving, possession of firearm by a convicted felon and person associated with gang activity.
A passenger in the vehicle, Derek Lee Johnson, 35, of LaFayette, was charged as a fugitive from justice.
