Summerville Police say that a man came into an Allen Street residence last Wednesday and damaged a television.  The suspect is also accused of slicing a tire on F-150 Ford pickup located outside the residence.

The complainant told a responding officer that a man by the name of Lee Pell came to the house and demanded money that he said the complainant owed him.  The complainant was in Gore at the time of the incident, but a female witness said that Pell came into the residence and slapped the back of the television with his hand and damaged it.  Witnesses also say that they saw Pell cutting the tire on the pickup truck parked outside.

According to the report, Pell worked for the complainant at one time.

Police said that the suspect left a grocery bag with cookies in it on the front porch of the complainant’s residence.

A search was made for the offender in the area, but he was not located.  The incident was turned over to an investigator.
