The Chattooga County Chamber of Commerce is working with local businesses as they begin to reopen following COVID-19 Pandemic restrictions that were put in place earlier this spring by Georgia Governor Brian Kemp.
The Chamber says that they are functioning as “An economic recovery team to help our community reopen safely and rebound successfully is being formed in Chattooga County. Its purpose will be to work together to provide information, to educate, to train, to connect needs to tools and resources, essentially, to be a collective leader in the recovery efforts in Chattooga County in order to ensure our citizens and businesses have what they need to adapt to the economic and social changes that lie ahead as the economy continues to reopen. By working together with a cross-section of strategic local and regional talent and an extensive roster of community leaders, using the resources available and by taking small steps, we will be able to reach our goals to sustain and improve the lives and livelihoods of our citizens and our business community.”
As part of their “recovery & relaunch”, the Chamber put out a list of locally-owned restaurants and their available services. You should call to verify any information.
